You've got the earning part handled.
Your financial life still feels out of sync.
The Waymarker Approach™ helps you steady the other part: the money decisions that keep coming up.
On paper, your money lines up, in real life it doesn’t
I hear this a lot, from people who look like they’ve got it handled
● “I’m not sure where the money goes each month."
● “I rush some decisions and avoid others completely."
● “I keep thinking the next milestone will bring some relief ."
● “I should have this figured out by now."
We begin where you are, not where you think you should be.

Meet the Person Behind The Waymarker Approach
Welcome to The Waymarker Approach™
You want to know who you are trusting this with. That’s fair.
I came to coaching the long way around. I spent 25 years in the car industry, in nearly every role there is, watching people make some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. If you've ever bought a car, you know the decisions I mean. I know them from the other side, and that taught me what pressure does to a decision.
I also worked as a personal trainer, where I learned what it takes to build the type of habits you'll stick to. And now, after over a decade in financial services, it’s more unmistakable than ever: money is never only about the math.
I’m not sure I’d had a better example before I walked the Camino de Santiago. The five weeks I spent on that centuries-old trail put everything about my practice to the test. What emerged was an even clearer barometer for what’s needed and what to leave behind.
So, when we meet, we don't leap to problems and fixes. We look at where things stand, what you're dealing with, and what needs to take priority. The money part comes after that, once we can both see the ground you're standing on.

On the Camino, waymarkers are the stones that keep you on the path. You don't need the whole route figured out at the start. You just need the next marker. Money works the same way: one clear decision, followed by the next.
The Waymarker Approach is for people who earn well and want their decisions about money to come from steadiness instead of pressure. It's grounded in behavioural cash flow coaching so we can work on the numbers and the behaviour behind them at the same time.
Yes, that work is about money, but only in so far as money is what we use to navigate the world, which is why it carries the weight it does.
The Waymarker Approach
The Money Triad
Three interdependent elements that shape every financial decision
Math. The numbers themselves: cash flow, affordability, priorities, trade-offs, and planning.
Meaning. What we make money mean: the patterns, stories, reactions, and internal noise.
Movement. The way money moves in real life: choices, habits, and decisions that either support you or don’t.
This is what “do money like it makes sense” looks like in practice.
“ I didn’t expect managing our finances to be this easy”

Two Ways into the Work
The Waymarker Path
If you want to build the framework before going deeper, this is the way in. The Foundation is a six-hour virtual seminar: you learn the Waymarker framework in a small group, then put it to work on your own numbers, which you’re never asked to share. The Foundation is $750 to begin, and if you continue the path, the full amount is credited to your balance.
The Private Path
If you want the work one-on-one from the beginning, this is your path. It’s also where people arrive with a specific decision on the table: a refinance, a renewal, a major life shift, a “can we afford this” scenario. Business owners land here, too, often starting with what to pay themselves. However you arrive, it is fully private from the first conversation and pricing starts at $5500 based on what you are working with.
You won’t be told to budget harder or cut out joy.
You’ll be supported in building financial alignment that feels like you, not a formula.
What people ask before we talk
-
Behavioural cash flow coaching works on both sides of the money equation: the practical numbers and the emotional, behavioural, and habitual realities behind them. Most financial help addresses only the math. This work addresses both.
-
A financial advisor manages your investments and builds your long-term plan. I work on what comes before that: cash flow, spending alignment, debt, and the decision-making that shapes all of it. The two kinds of work go well together.
-
No. Most of the people I work with earn well and have built lives that look successful by most standards. They’re not necessarily is crisis. They may simply feel unclear, stretched, or disconnected from their money. Debt is a situation, not a life sentence, and confusion is a situation too. You don't need a crisis to want your money to make sense.
-
Yes. The Foundation and private coaching both have couples options, and money conversations go better when nobody is translating for anybody else.
-
I'm in Calgary, Alberta, and the work is virtual, so I coach people across Canada, with clients in Europe and Britain as well. Time zones are workable, and distance isn't an issue.
-
It depends on where you're starting from. Getting clear on where things stand happens first. Then we work on identifying habits and building stronger ones, which is more of a steady walk than a run: you map your own progress along the way.
-
The Foundation is $750 to begin, and the full amount credits toward your balance if you continue into private coaching. Fully private coaching starts at $5,500 and is built exclusively for your situation. The complete picture, including couples pricing, is on the Coaching page.
